Skating Carnival is March 31

The Glanbrook Skate Club is planning their annual Skating Carnival for Saturday, March 31and we need your to help so the Carnival runs smoothly. And you can earn your volunteer hours! The theme for this year’s skate carnival is Television.

On the day of the Carnival, we will need some parents in the changeroom to supervise children, costume sewers, flower sellers, program sellers, decorators to transform the arena, volunteers to play music during Carnival practice and the Carnival and an ad salesperson for the program.

For the next few weeks, you will see volunteer sign-up sheets in the arena lobby during skating lessons. Ask questions and sign up … it’s that simple!

You’ll be helping our skaters put on a successful Carnival and you’ll save the $50 volunteer fee! We all benefit!

Sizing Forms
Please fill out your child’s sizes and measurements for their Carnival costume and submit it promptly. Sizing forms will be available during the next couple of weeks at the Skate table in the arena lobby.

Door Prizes
Door prizes are always needed at the Skate Carnival and help offset Carnival costs.
If you would like to donate a Door Prize to be raffled off during the March 31st Skate Carnival, please drop it off with any of the Skate Executives usually found in the arena lobby on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday night. Thank you for support.

Volunteer needed for program
During the months of February and March, we will be designing the Carnival program. We need a volunteer to help with ad sales by contacting last year’s advertisers to see if they would like to advertise again and do they want to make any changes to their ad. If you have a few hours available during the day and a car, we need you! Contact President Barb Forbes by e-mail: glanskateclub@hotmail.com

Advertise in the Program
Glanbrook Skating Club is designing their annual program available during the Carnival on March 31. To promote your business with an ad in the program, contact Barbara Fanson by e-mail: Barbara@sterlinged.com.
